We are pleased to announce Amanda Reed has been selected as the new Assistant Principal of North Whidbey Middle School starting next school year.
Ms. Reed is a familiar and trusted face at North Whidbey Middle School having served as a special education teacher for 19 years and an Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) coach. Following an extremely strong pool of applicants, Amanda stood out for her depth of experience, leadership qualities, and clear passion for supporting students and staff. Throughout the interview process, she demonstrated a strong understanding of our district’s strategic plan and a deep commitment to inclusionary practices and continuous improvement. Amanda is widely respected for her ability to mentor student teachers and support staff growth, and she is known for helping teams move meaningful work forward in service of students.
