Inclement Weather



In the event of inclement weather that resultes in OHPS delaying or canceling school, the following will occur for OHVA students: 

  • If in-person school is delayed due to inclement weather, OHVA students will proceed with classes.

  • If in-person school is canceled due to inclement weather, OHVA students will not be required to complete class work during the cancellation period.

  • If a power outage occurs, OHVA students will be given additional hours/days to make up work due to the outage.

    • Power outages often occur in pockets and do not affect all students, so please contact your teacher or the OHVA office to let us know you do not have power.

    • Please remember that power outages may also affect teachers and they will do their best to complete grading and contact families.
